We were contacted by the awesome Flag World team, and immediately made a great connection. They had been through a number of other web development shops, and were tired of being over promised and under delivered, which left them very reticent to invest in yet another website. After making a personal connection with them, and establishing a level of trust, we began the new Flag World site. By working to understand their needs and outlook on a personal level, we were better able to tailor their new site to be a reflection of their passion for custom flags and commercial flag installation.
I cannot exaggerate how much fun it was working with Sara & Vicki at Flag World – they are a truly dynamic duo! They also share my belief that an American Flag should be made right here in America. Together we built our common vision of a patriotic site; with a very strong focus on ease of use, SEO, and highlighting their awesome physical shop. Our process was a mutual exchange of ideas – and with the help of our friends at Creative Image Photography, (who did an amazing job capturing the essence of both their storefront and interior), we were on our way.
Our shared goals on the Flag World site were to create a responsive, mobile ready, SEO friendly site. They had invested in e-commerce in the past, and the number of orders that they received did not justify the investment. With this in mind, we reframed the website as a tool to connect Sara & Vicki’s friendly voices with their customers. Custom flags are a niche market – and one they have been working in for over 17 years with a widely recognizable clientele – which makes them uniquely suited to speak with prospective clients. So, next time you’re looking for a custom flag or an American flag – head over to www.aFlagWorld.com and tell Vicki & Sara that Bob sent you.
